This is a captivating frock based on an original vintage 1930s garment with some modern enhancements thrown in. This dress has some typical mid 1930s design trademarks including flattering cowl neckline, long bishops sleeves and has been cleverly cut in several bias cut panels to hug but still flatter the body. We've made it in a viscose rayon satin the closest fabric we could find that feels like the originals! It is so elegant and hangs beautifully this dress really is the real deal! New in this print: Dress features a belt which uses our splendid art deco clasp in black. This was painfully recreated from an original. No zip due to bias cut pull over head. Key 1930s features include: cowl neckline long bishop sleeves with elastic at wrist keyhole at back art deco clasp belt low calf length approx 32 inches from natural waist (this will change depending on your own shape) Dry clean or cold hand wash MUST dry flat due to bias panels. *Please note following customer feedback, hem length has been increased.
