The whiskey is a 100% rye grain spirit, aged for a minimum of 10 years in new American oak barrels and bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV). It reflects WhistlePigs well established house style, focused on bold spice and structure. The White, Red & Blue edition features a patriotic design variation of the PiggyBank bottle, released as a special edition while maintaining the same whiskey as the core 10 Year expression. The decanter includes a coin slot and is designed for reuse after the whiskey is enjoyed. In the glass, it shows classic rye character with baking spice, caramel, vanilla, and oak, alongside a dry, peppery finish.
