This is a significant undertaking that will revolutionize the performance engine industry. The dry sump system offers several advantages over traditional wet sump systems, including improved engine lubrication as well as the key factor of controlling air contamination within the oil. The use of the compact one piece billet alloy pan construction with self contained oil channels as well as the added bonus of voiding the requirement of external oil lines as potential points of failure, aesthetics and costs as well as modular and removable diff assembly from within the car makes track side gear changes and maintenance a breeze without the removal of the engine. Through the use of advanced computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations, and consultation with industry leaders in the field, PRP has been able to analyze and optimize the oil supply and flow within the system, ensuring that the engine receives a consistent and reliable oil supply. We have chosen to partner up with Dailey Engineering needing no introduction for an exclusive to PRP designed set up incorporating a cutting edge custom designed 5 stage big body pump + air separator which fits neatly in front of the front differential assembly, as the air separator is crucial to motorsport it has not left any room for a fuel pump so we have added provision for mechanical fuel pump on the opposite side just below and forward of the air conditioning compressor if you were to run one. Oil mesh strainers are now sandwiched between the sump body and the oil pump allowing easy maintenance and inspection.
